nylon casing, the Survivor offers exceptional durability and weather resistance.
Rugged enough to survive the UL 30-ft. drop test, Streamlight's new and improved
professional light is also engineered with a one-way valve for case venting and
"O" ring sealed openings to protect against moisture and dirt.
The new 'PiggyBack' charger for the Divison 2 model allows simultaneous recharging of
the light and a spare battery. The new steel hinged door and latch of the Division 2
model allow for quick loading of spare battery. The division 2 model also features
the 5.5 watt, "black dot" xenon bulb with up to 25,000 candlepower and "Smoke Cutter" optics.
Hadardous Location Definitions
Class 1- Areas where flammable gases may be present in sufficient quantities to produce
explosive or flammable mixtures.
Class 2- Locations that can be described as hazardous because of combustible dust.
Class 3- Locations that contain easily ignitable fibers and flyings.
Division 1- An environment where flammable gasses, vapors, liquids, combustible dusts or
ignitable fibers and flyings are LIKELY to exist under normal operating
conditions.
Division 2- An environment where flammable gases, vapors, liquids, combustible dusts or
ignitable fibers and flyings are NOT LIKELY to exist under normal operating
conditions.
